IVF with Egg Donation (and without the waiting lists!)
Obstetrics and Gynaecology
Thailand has also been gifted with a vast variety of species of plants and animals, making it an extremely exciting destination for wild-life lovers, who can visit the many National Parks and sanctuaries.
Thailand really does have something for everyone!
Throw into the mix, the fact that Thailand probably has the most well-established IVF clinics of all of its neighbours, and has been catering to medical tourists for years, now, and it is difficult to think of a better destination for combining the holiday of a life-time, while saving on the costs for IVF treatment!
Thailand has another advantage for you, as well!
Many countries have extremely long waiting lists, particularly if you need donor eggs.
While donor eggs are in very short supply in the US, Canada, UK and Ireland, Australia and New Zealand, treatment in Thailand can be much, much quicker.
So, it’s not surprising that international demand for IVF in Thailand is just becoming greater and greater.
Thailand is certainly equal to the demand, and there is no shortage of highly skilled and qualified fertility specialists and top IVF clinics, while the standard of accommodation during your stay is superb.
Simply, the cost of living in Thailand, and also the infrastructure costs are much cheaper than in the West.
It is much cheaper for a skilled IVF specialist to set up a state-of-the-art fertility clinic than it would be in many other countries of the world.
There is no question that Thai IVF doctors are the equal to professionals anywhere else in the world; however, simply by getting on a low-cost flight, it is possible to get a level of fertility treatment you could possibly never have afforded at home.
The cost for IVF in Thailand is around 50% to 70% lower than you would pay in countries such as the US, Canada, the UK or Australia. And at the same time, you get a chance to visit one of the most unique, exciting countries on Earth.
This does not mean that you should throw caution to the wind, and get your IVF with the first fertility clinic you find. In Thailand, as with any other country, there are IVF doctors who are more highly skilled and trained than others.
As always, if you are organising IVF in Thailand by yourself, you should make sure that you have done a reasonable amount of research. Otherwise, the best way to organise your fertility treatment is through an agent or referral service, as they will have vetted the IVF Clinics for you.
